28:1. Celaka atas mahkota kemegahan pemabuk-pemabuk Efraim, atas bunga yang sudah mulai layu di perhiasan kepala mereka yang indah-indah--yaitu kota yang terletak tinggi di atas bukit, di atas lembah yang subur yang penuh peminum anggur yang sudah pening--! |
| 28:2 Behold, the Lord [0136] hath a mighty [02389] and strong one [0533], {which} as a tempest [02230] of hail [01259] {and} a destroying [06986] storm [08178], as a flood [02230] of mighty [03524] waters [04325] overflowing [07857] (8802), shall cast down [03240] (8689) to the earth [0776] with the hand [03027]. |
28:2 Sesungguhnya, pada Tuhan ada seorang yang kuat dan tegap, seorang yang seperti angin ribut disertai hujan batu, yakni badai yang membinasakan, seorang yang seperti angin ribut disertai air hujan yang hebat menghanyutkan; ia akan menghempaskan mereka ke tanah dengan kekerasan. |
| 28:3 The crown [05850] of pride [01348], the drunkards [07910] of Ephraim [0669], shall be trodden [07429] (8735) under feet [07272]: |
28:3 Mahkota kemegahan pemabuk-pemabuk Efraim itu akan diinjak-injak dengan kaki, |
| 28:4 And the glorious [06643] beauty [08597], which {is} on the head [07218] of the fat [08081] valley [01516], shall be a fading [05034] (8802) flower [06733], {and} as the hasty fruit [01061] before the summer [07019]; which {when} he that looketh [07200] (8802) upon it seeth [07200] (8799), while it is yet in his hand [03709] he eateth it up [01104] (8799). |
28:4 dan bunga yang sudah mulai layu di perhiasan kepala mereka yang indah-indah itu--yaitu kota yang terletak tinggi di atas bukit, di atas lembah yang subur--nasibnya akan seperti nasib buah ara yang masak duluan sebelum musim kemarau: baru saja dilihat orang terus dipetik dan ditelan. |
| 28:5 In that day [03117] shall the LORD [03068] of hosts [06635] be for a crown [05850] of glory [06643], and for a diadem [06843] of beauty [08597], unto the residue [07605] of his people [05971], |
28:5 Pada waktu itu TUHAN semesta alam akan menjadi mahkota kepermaian, dan perhiasan kepala yang indah-indah bagi sisa umat-Nya, |
| 28:6 And for a spirit [07307] of judgment [04941] to him that sitteth [03427] (8802) in judgment [04941], and for strength [01369] to them that turn [07725] (8688) the battle [04421] to the gate [08179]. |
28:6 akan menjadi roh keadilan bagi orang yang duduk mengadili, dan menjadi roh kepahlawanan bagi orang yang memukul mundur peperangan ke arah pintu gerbang. |
| 28:7 But they [0428] also have erred [07686] (8804) through wine [03196], and through strong drink [07941] are out of the way [08582] (8804); the priest [03548] and the prophet [05030] have erred [07686] (8804) through strong drink [07941], they are swallowed up [01104] (8738) of [04480] wine [03196], they are out of the way [08582] (8804) through strong drink [07941]; they err [07686] (8804) in vision [07203], they stumble [06328] (8804) {in} judgment [06417]. |
28:7 Tetapi orang-orang di sinipun pening karena anggur dan pusing karena arak. Baik imam maupun nabi pening karena arak, kacau oleh anggur; mereka pusing oleh arak, pening pada waktu melihat penglihatan, goyang pada waktu memberi keputusan. |
| 28:8 For all tables [07979] are full [04390] (8804) of vomit [06892] {and} filthiness [06675], {so that there is} no place [04725] {clean}. |
28:8 Sungguh, segala meja penuh dengan muntah, kotoran, sehingga tidak ada tempat yang bersih lagi. |
| 28:9. Whom shall he teach [03384] (8686) knowledge [01844]? and whom shall he make to understand [0995] (8799) doctrine [08052]? {them that are} weaned [01580] (8803) from the milk [02461], {and} drawn [06267] from the breasts [07699]. |
28:9. Dan orang berkata: "Kepada siapakah dia ini mau mengajarkan pengetahuannya dan kepada siapakah ia mau menjelaskan nubuat-nubuatnya? Seolah-olah kepada anak yang baru disapih, dan yang baru cerai susu! |
| 28:10 For precept [06673] {must be} upon precept [06673], precept [06673] upon precept [06673]; line [06957] upon line [06957], line [06957] upon line [06957]; here a little [02191], {and} there a little [02191]: |
28:10 Sebab harus ini harus itu, mesti begini mesti begitu, tambah ini, tambah itu!" |
| 28:11 For with stammering [03934] lips [08193] and another [0312] tongue [03956] will he speak [01696] (8762) to this people [05971]. |
28:11 Sungguh, oleh orang-orang yang berlogat ganjil dan oleh orang-orang yang berbahasa asing akan berbicara kepada bangsa ini |
| 28:12 To whom he said [0559] (8804), This {is} the rest [04496] {wherewith} ye may cause the weary [05889] to rest [05117] (8685); and this {is} the refreshing [04774]: yet they would [014] (8804) not hear [08085] (8800). |
28:12 Dia yang telah berfirman kepada mereka: "Inilah tempat perhentian, berilah perhentian kepada orang yang lelah; inilah tempat peristirahatan!" Tetapi mereka tidak mau mendengarkan. |

28:13 Maka mereka akan mendengarkan firman TUHAN yang begini: "Harus ini harus itu, mesti begini mesti begitu, tambah ini tambah itu!" supaya dalam berjalan mereka jatuh telentang, sehingga luka, tertangkap dan tertawan. |
| 28:14. Wherefore hear [08085] (8798) the word [01697] of the LORD [03068], ye scornful [03944] men [0582], that rule [04910] (8802) this people [05971] which {is} in Jerusalem [03389]. |
28:14. Sebab itu dengarlah firman TUHAN, hai orang-orang pencemooh, hai orang-orang yang memerintah rakyat yang ada di Yerusalem ini! |
| 28:15 Because ye have said [0559] (8804), We have made [03772] (8804) a covenant [01285] with death [04194], and with hell [07585] are we [06213] (8804) at agreement [02374]; when the overflowing [07857] (8802) scourge [07752] (8675) [07885] shall pass through [05674] (8799) (8675) [05674] (8804), it shall not come [0935] (8799) unto us: for we have made [07760] (8804) lies [03577] our refuge [04268], and under falsehood [08267] have we hid [05641] (8738) ourselves: |
28:15 Karena kamu telah berkata: "Kami telah mengikat perjanjian dengan maut, dan dengan dunia maut kami telah mengadakan persetujuan; biarpun cemeti berdesik-desik dengan kerasnya, kami tidak akan kena; sebab kami telah membuat bohong sebagai perlindungan kami, dan dalam dusta kami menyembunyikan diri," |
| 28:16 Therefore thus saith [0559] (8804) the Lord [0136] GOD [03069], Behold, I lay [03245] (8765) in Zion [06726] for a foundation a stone [068], a tried [0976] stone [068], a precious [03368] corner [06438] {stone}, a sure [03245] (8716) foundation [04143]: he that believeth [0539] (8688) shall not make haste [02363] (8686). |
28:16 sebab itu beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: "Sesungguhnya, Aku meletakkan sebagai dasar di Sion sebuah batu, batu yang teruji, sebuah batu penjuru yang mahal, suatu dasar yang teguh: Siapa yang percaya, tidak akan gelisah! |
| 28:17 Judgment [04941] also will I lay [07760] (8804) to the line [06957], and righteousness [06666] to the plummet [04949]: and the hail [01259] shall sweep away [03261] (8804) the refuge [04268] of lies [03577], and the waters [04325] shall overflow [07857] (8799) the hiding place [05643]. |
28:17 Dan Aku akan membuat keadilan menjadi tali pengukur, dan kebenaran menjadi tali sipat; hujan batu akan menyapu bersih perlindungan bohong, dan air lebat akan menghanyutkan persembunyian." |
| 28:18 And your covenant [01285] with death [04194] shall be disannulled [03722] (8795), and your agreement [02380] with hell [07585] shall not stand [06965] (8799); when the overflowing [07857] (8802) scourge [07752] shall pass through [05674] (8799), then ye shall be trodden down [04823] by it. |
28:18 Perjanjianmu dengan maut itu akan ditiadakan, dan persetujuanmu dengan dunia orang mati itu tidak akan tetap berlaku; apabila cemeti berdesik-desik dengan kerasnya, kamu akan hancur diinjak-injak. |
| 28:19 From the time [01767] that it goeth forth [05674] (8800) it shall take [03947] (8799) you: for morning [01242] by morning [01242] shall it pass over [05674] (8799), by day [03117] and by night [03915]: and it shall be a vexation [02113] only {to} understand [0995] (8687) the report [08052]. |
28:19 Seberapa kali ia datang, ia akan menyeret kamu, sebab pagi demi pagi ia akan datang, pada waktu siang dan pada waktu malam; maka adalah semata-mata kengerian untuk mengerti firman yang didengar itu. |
| 28:20 For the bed [04702] is shorter [07114] (8804) than that {a man} can stretch [08311] (8692) himself {on it}: and the covering [04541] narrower [06887] (8804) than that he can wrap [03664] (8692) himself {in it}. |
28:20 Sebab tempat tidur akan kurang panjang untuk dipakai membujurkan diri dan selimut akan kurang lebar untuk dipakai menyelubungi diri. |
| 28:21 For the LORD [03068] shall rise up [06965] (8799) as {in} mount [02022] Perazim [06559], he shall be wroth [07264] (8799) as {in} the valley [06010] of Gibeon [01391], that he may do [06213] (8800) his work [04639], his strange [02114] (8801) work [04639]; and bring to pass [05647] (8800) his act [05656], his strange [05237] act [05656]. |
28:21 Sebab TUHAN akan bangkit seperti di gunung Perasim, Ia akan mengamuk seperti di lembah dekat Gibeon, untuk melakukan perbuatan-Nya--ganjil perbuatan-Nya itu; dan untuk mengerjakan pekerjaan-Nya--ajaib pekerjaan-Nya itu! |
| 28:22 Now therefore be ye not mockers [03887] (8698), lest your bands [04147] be made strong [02388] (8799): for I have heard [08085] (8804) from the Lord [0136] GOD [03069] of hosts [06635] a consumption [03617], even determined [02782] (8737) upon the whole earth [0776]. |
28:22 Oleh sebab itu, janganlah kamu mencemooh, supaya tali belenggumu jangan semakin keras, sebab kudengar tentang kebinasaan yang sudah pasti yang datang dari Tuhan ALLAH semesta alam atas seluruh negeri itu. |
| 28:23. Give ye ear [0238] (8685), and hear [08085] (8798) my voice [06963]; hearken [07181] (8685), and hear [08085] (8798) my speech [0565]. |
28:23. Pasanglah telinga dan dengarkanlah suaraku; perhatikanlah dan dengarkanlah perkataanku! |
| 28:24 Doth the plowman [02790] (8802) plow [02790] (8799) all day [03117] to sow [02232] (8800)? doth he open [06605] (8762) and break the clods [07702] (8762) of his ground [0127]? |
28:24 Setiap harikah orang membajak, mencangkul dan menyisir tanahnya untuk menabur? |
| 28:25 When he hath made plain [07737] (8765) the face [06440] thereof, doth he not cast abroad [06327] (8689) the fitches [07100], and scatter [02236] (8799) the cummin [03646], and cast [07760] (8804) in the principal [07795] wheat [02406] and the appointed [05567] (8737) barley [08184] and the rie [03698] in their place [01367]? |
28:25 Bukankah setelah meratakan tanahnya, ia menyerakkan jintan hitam dan menebarkan jintan putih, menaruh gandum jawawut dan jelai kehitam-hitaman dan sekoi di pinggirnya? |
| 28:26 For his God [0430] doth instruct [03256] (8765) him to discretion [04941], {and} doth teach [03384] (8686) him. |
28:26 Mengenai adat kebiasaan ia telah diajari, diberi petunjuk oleh Allahnya. |
| 28:27 For the fitches [07100] are not threshed [01758] (8714) with a threshing instrument [02742], neither is a cart [05699] wheel [0212] turned about [05437] (8714) upon the cummin [03646]; but the fitches [07100] are beaten out [02251] (8735) with a staff [04294], and the cummin [03646] with a rod [07626]. |
28:27 Sebab jintan hitam tidak diirik dengan eretan pengirik, dan roda gerobak tidak dipakai untuk menggiling jintan putih, tetapi jintan hitam diirik dengan memukul-mukulnya dengan galah, dan jintan putih dengan tongkat. |
| 28:28 Bread [03899] {corn} is bruised [01854] (8714); because he will not ever [05331] be threshing [0156] (8800) [01758] (8799) it, nor break [02000] (8804) {it with} the wheel [01536] of his cart [05699], nor bruise [01854] (8799) it {with} his horsemen [06571]. |
28:28 Apakah orang waktu mengirik memukul gandum sampai hancur? sungguh tidak, orang tidak terus-menerus memukulnya sampai hancur! Dan sekalipun orang menjalankan di atas gandum itu jentera gerobak dengan kudanya, namun orang tidak akan menggilingnya sampai hancur. |
| 28:29 This also cometh forth [03318] (8804) from the LORD [03068] of hosts [06635], {which} is wonderful [06381] (8689) in counsel [06098], {and} excellent [01431] (8689) in working [08454]. |
28:29 Dan inipun datangnya dari TUHAN semesta alam; Ia ajaib dalam keputusan dan agung dalam kebijaksanaan. |
