73:1. Mazmur Asaf. Sesungguhnya Allah itu baik bagi mereka yang tulus hatinya, bagi mereka yang bersih hatinya. |
| 73:2 But as for me, my feet [07272] were almost [04592] gone [05186] (8804) (8675) [05186] (8803); my steps [0838] had well nigh [0369] slipped [08210] (8795). |
73:2 Tetapi aku, sedikit lagi maka kakiku terpeleset, nyaris aku tergelincir. |
| 73:3 For I was envious [07065] (8765) at the foolish [01984] (8802), {when} I saw [07200] (8799) the prosperity [07965] of the wicked [07563]. |
73:3 Sebab aku cemburu kepada pembual-pembual, kalau aku melihat kemujuran orang-orang fasik. |
| 73:4 For {there are} no bands [02784] in their death [04194]: but their strength [0193] {is} firm [01277]. |
73:4 Sebab kesakitan tidak ada pada mereka, sehat dan gemuk tubuh mereka; |
| 73:5 They {are} not in trouble [05999] {as other} men [0582]; neither are they plagued [05060] (8792) like [05973] {other} men [0120]. |
73:5 mereka tidak mengalami kesusahan manusia, dan mereka tidak kena tulah seperti orang lain. |
| 73:6 Therefore pride [01346] compasseth them about as a chain [06059] (8804); violence [02555] covereth [05848] (8799) them {as} a garment [07897]. |
73:6 Sebab itu mereka berkalungkan kecongkakan dan berpakaian kekerasan. |
| 73:7 Their eyes [05869] stand out [03318] (8804) with fatness [02459]: they have more [05674] (8804) than heart [03824] could wish [04906]. |
73:7 Karena kegemukan, kesalahan mereka menyolok, hati mereka meluap-luap dengan sangkaan. |

73:8 Mereka menyindir dan mengata-ngatai dengan jahatnya, hal pemerasan dibicarakan mereka dengan tinggi hati. |

73:9 Mereka membuka mulut melawan langit, dan lidah mereka membual di bumi. |

73:10 Sebab itu orang-orang berbalik kepada mereka, mendapatkan mereka seperti air yang berlimpah-limpah. |

73:11 Dan mereka berkata: "Bagaimana Allah tahu hal itu, adakah pengetahuan pada Yang Mahatinggi?" |
| 73:12 Behold, these {are} the ungodly [07563], who prosper [07961] in the world [05769]; they increase [07685] (8689) {in} riches [02428]. |
73:12 Sesungguhnya, itulah orang-orang fasik: mereka menambah harta benda dan senang selamanya! |
| 73:13 Verily I have cleansed [02135] (8765) my heart [03824] {in} vain [07385], and washed [07364] (8799) my hands [03709] in innocency [05356]. |
73:13 Sia-sia sama sekali aku mempertahankan hati yang bersih, dan membasuh tanganku, tanda tak bersalah. |

73:14 Namun sepanjang hari aku kena tulah, dan kena hukum setiap pagi. |

73:15. Seandainya aku berkata: "Aku mau berkata-kata seperti itu," maka sesungguhnya aku telah berkhianat kepada angkatan anak-anakmu. |

73:16 Tetapi ketika aku bermaksud untuk mengetahuinya, hal itu menjadi kesulitan di mataku, |

73:17 sampai aku masuk ke dalam tempat kudus Allah, dan memperhatikan kesudahan mereka. |
| 73:18 Surely thou didst set [07896] (8799) them in slippery places [02513]: thou castedst them down [05307] (8689) into destruction [04876]. |
73:18 Sesungguhnya di tempat-tempat licin Kautaruh mereka, Kaujatuhkan mereka sehingga hancur. |
| 73:19 How are they {brought} into desolation [08047], as in a moment [07281]! they are utterly [05486] (8804) consumed [08552] (8804) with terrors [01091]. |
73:19 Betapa binasa mereka dalam sekejap mata, lenyap, habis oleh karena kedahsyatan! |
| 73:20 As a dream [02472] when {one} awaketh [06974] (8687); {so}, O Lord [0136], when thou awakest [05782], thou shalt despise [0959] (8799) their image [06754]. |
73:20 Seperti mimpi pada waktu terbangun, ya Tuhan, pada waktu terjaga, rupa mereka Kaupandang hina. |

73:21. Ketika hatiku merasa pahit dan buah pinggangku menusuk-nusuk rasanya, |
| 73:22 So foolish [01198] {was} I, and ignorant [03045] (8799): I was {as} a beast [0929] before thee. |
73:22 aku dungu dan tidak mengerti, seperti hewan aku di dekat-Mu. |
| 73:23 Nevertheless I {am} continually [08548] with thee: thou hast holden [0270] (8804) {me} by my right [03225] hand [03027]. |
73:23 Tetapi aku tetap di dekat-Mu; Engkau memegang tangan kananku. |
| 73:24 Thou shalt guide [05148] (8686) me with thy counsel [06098], and afterward [0310] receive [03947] (8799) me {to} glory [03519]. |
73:24 Dengan nasihat-Mu Engkau menuntun aku, dan kemudian Engkau mengangkat aku ke dalam kemuliaan. |

73:25 Siapa gerangan ada padaku di sorga selain Engkau? Selain Engkau tidak ada yang kuingini di bumi. |

73:26 Sekalipun dagingku dan hatiku habis lenyap, gunung batuku dan bagianku tetaplah Allah selama-lamanya. |

73:27 Sebab sesungguhnya, siapa yang jauh dari pada-Mu akan binasa; Kaubinasakan semua orang, yang berzinah dengan meninggalkan Engkau. |
| 73:28 But [0589] {it is} good [02896] for me to draw near [07132] to God [0430]: I have put [07896] (8804) my trust [04268] in the Lord [0136] GOD [03069], that I may declare [05608] (8763) all thy works [04399]. |
73:28 Tetapi aku, aku suka dekat pada Allah; aku menaruh tempat perlindunganku pada Tuhan ALLAH, supaya dapat menceritakan segala pekerjaan-Nya. |
