5:1. Untuk pemimpin biduan. Dengan permainan suling. Mazmur Daud. (5-2) Berilah telinga kepada perkataanku, ya TUHAN, indahkanlah keluh kesahku. |

5:2 (5-3) Perhatikanlah teriakku minta tolong, ya Rajaku dan Allahku, sebab kepada-Mulah aku berdoa. |

5:3 (5-4) TUHAN, pada waktu pagi Engkau mendengar seruanku, pada waktu pagi aku mengatur persembahan bagi-Mu, dan aku menunggu-nunggu. |

5:4 (5-5) Sebab Engkau bukanlah Allah yang berkenan kepada kefasikan; orang jahat takkan menumpang pada-Mu. |
| 5:5 The foolish [01984] (8802) shall not stand [03320] (8691) in thy sight [05869]: thou hatest [08130] (8804) all workers [06466] (8802) of iniquity [0205]. |
5:5 (5-6) Pembual tidak akan tahan di depan mata-Mu; Engkau membenci semua orang yang melakukan kejahatan. |
| 5:6 Thou shalt destroy [006] (8762) them that speak [01696] (8802) leasing [03577]: the LORD [03068] will abhor [08581] (8762) the bloody [01818] and deceitful [04820] man [0376]. |
5:6 (5-7) Engkau membinasakan orang-orang yang berkata bohong, TUHAN jijik melihat penumpah darah dan penipu. |
| 5:7. But as for me, I will come [0935] (8799) {into} thy house [01004] in the multitude [07230] of thy mercy [02617]: {and} in thy fear [03374] will I worship [07812] (8691) toward thy holy [06944] temple [01964]. |
5:7. (5-8) Tetapi aku, berkat kasih setia-Mu yang besar, aku akan masuk ke dalam rumah-Mu, sujud menyembah ke arah bait-Mu yang kudus dengan takut akan Engkau. |

5:8 (5-9) TUHAN, tuntunlah aku dalam keadilan-Mu karena seteruku; ratakanlah jalan-Mu di depanku. |

5:9 (5-10) Sebab perkataan mereka tidak ada yang jujur, batin mereka penuh kebusukan, kerongkongan mereka seperti kubur ternganga, lidah mereka merayu-rayu. |

5:10 (5-11) Biarlah mereka menanggung kesalahan mereka, ya Allah, biarlah mereka jatuh karena rancangannya sendiri; buanglah mereka karena banyaknya pelanggaran mereka, sebab mereka memberontak terhadap Engkau. |

5:11 (5-12) Tetapi semua orang yang berlindung pada-Mu akan bersukacita, mereka akan bersorak-sorai selama-lamanya, karena Engkau menaungi mereka; dan karena Engkau akan bersukaria orang-orang yang mengasihi nama-Mu. |
| 5:12 For thou, LORD [03068], wilt bless [01288] (8762) the righteous [06662]; with favour [07522] wilt thou compass [05849] (8799) him as {with} a shield [06793]. |
5:12 (5-13) Sebab Engkaulah yang memberkati orang benar, ya TUHAN; Engkau memagari dia dengan anugerah-Mu seperti perisai. |
