76:1. Untuk pemimpin biduan. Dengan permainan kecapi. Mazmur Asaf. Nyanyian. (76-2) Allah terkenal di Yehuda, nama-Nya masyhur di Israel! |
| 76:2 In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion. |
76:2 (76-3) Di Salem sudah ada pondok-Nya, dan kediaman-Nya di Sion! |
| 76:3 There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah. |
76:3 (76-4) Di sanalah dipatahkan-Nya panah yang berkilat, perisai dan pedang dan alat perang. Sela |
| 76:4 Thou [art] more glorious [and] excellent than the mountains of prey. |
76:4 (76-5) Cemerlang Engkau, lebih mulia dari pada pegunungan yang ada sejak purba. |
| 76:5 The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands. |
76:5 (76-6) Orang-orang yang berani telah dijarah, mereka terlelap dalam tidurnya, dan semua orang yang gagah perkasa kehilangan kekuatannya. |
| 76:6 At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep. |
76:6 (76-7) Oleh sebab hardik-Mu, ya Allah Yakub, tertidur lelap baik pengendara maupun kuda. |
| 76:7. Thou, [even] thou, [art] to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry? |
76:7. (76-8) Dahsyat Engkau! Siapakah yang tahan berdiri di hadapan-Mu pada saat Engkau murka? |
| 76:8 Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still, |
76:8 (76-9) Dari langit Engkau memperdengarkan keputusan-Mu; bumi takut dan tertegun, |
| 76:9 When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah. |
76:9 (76-10) pada waktu Allah bangkit untuk memberi penghukuman, untuk menyelamatkan semua yang tertindas di bumi. Sela |
| 76:10 Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain. |
76:10 (76-11) Sesungguhnya panas hati manusia akan menjadi syukur bagi-Mu, dan sisa panas hati itu akan Kauperikatpinggangkan. |
| 76:11 Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared. |
76:11 (76-12) Bernazarlah dan bayarlah nazarmu itu kepada TUHAN, Allahmu! Biarlah semua orang yang di sekeliling-Nya menyampaikan persembahan kepada Dia yang ditakuti, |
| 76:12 He shall cut off the spirit of princes: [he is] terrible to the kings of the earth. |
76:12 (76-13) Dia yang mematahkan semangat para pemimpin, Dia yang dahsyat bagi raja-raja di bumi. |
