| 71:1. In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. |
71:1. Pada-Mu, ya TUHAN, aku berlindung, janganlah sekali-kali aku mendapat malu. |
| 71:2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me. |
71:2 Lepaskanlah aku dan luputkanlah aku oleh karena keadilan-Mu, sendengkanlah telinga-Mu kepadaku dan selamatkanlah aku! |
| 71:3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou [art] my rock and my fortress. |
71:3 Jadilah bagiku gunung batu, tempat berteduh, kubu pertahanan untuk menyelamatkan aku; sebab Engkaulah bukit batuku dan pertahananku. |
| 71:4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. |
71:4 Ya Allahku, luputkanlah aku dari tangan orang fasik, dari cengkeraman orang-orang lalim dan kejam. |
| 71:5 For thou [art] my hope, O Lord GOD: [thou art] my trust from my youth. |
71:5 Sebab Engkaulah harapanku, ya Tuhan, kepercayaanku sejak masa muda, ya ALLAH. |
| 71:6 By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise [shall be] continually of thee. |
71:6 Kepada-Mulah aku bertopang mulai dari kandungan, Engkau telah mengeluarkan aku dari perut ibuku; Engkau yang selalu kupuji-puji. |
| 71:7 I am as a wonder unto many; but thou [art] my strong refuge. |
71:7 Bagi banyak orang aku seperti tanda ajaib, karena Engkaulah tempat perlindunganku yang kuat. |
| 71:8 Let my mouth be filled [with] thy praise [and with] thy honour all the day. |
71:8 Mulutku penuh dengan puji-pujian kepada-Mu, dengan penghormatan kepada-Mu sepanjang hari. |
| 71:9 Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth. |
71:9 Janganlah membuang aku pada masa tuaku, janganlah meninggalkan aku apabila kekuatanku habis. |
| 71:10 For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together, |
71:10 Sebab musuh-musuhku berkata-kata tentang aku, orang-orang yang mengincar nyawaku berunding bersama-sama |
| 71:11 Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for [there is] none to deliver [him]. |
71:11 dan berkata: "Allah telah meninggalkan dia, kejar dan tangkaplah dia, sebab tidak ada yang melepaskan dia!" |
| 71:12 O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help. |
71:12 Ya Allah, janganlah jauh dari padaku! Allahku, segeralah menolong aku! |
| 71:13 Let them be confounded [and] consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered [with] reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt. |
71:13 Biarlah mendapat malu dan menjadi habis orang-orang yang memusuhi jiwaku; biarlah berselubungkan cela dan noda orang-orang yang mengikhtiarkan celakaku! |
| 71:14. But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. |
71:14. Tetapi aku senantiasa mau berharap dan menambah puji-pujian kepada-Mu; |
| 71:15 My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness [and] thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers [thereof]. |
71:15 mulutku akan menceritakan keadilan-Mu dan keselamatan yang dari pada-Mu sepanjang hari, sebab aku tidak dapat menghitungnya. |
| 71:16 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, [even] of thine only. |
71:16 Aku datang dengan keperkasaan-keperkasaan Tuhan ALLAH, hendak memasyhurkan hanya keadilan-Mu saja! |
| 71:17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works. |
71:17 Ya Allah, Engkau telah mengajar aku sejak kecilku, dan sampai sekarang aku memberitakan perbuatan-Mu yang ajaib; |
| 71:18 Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto [this] generation, [and] thy power to every one [that] is to come. |
71:18 juga sampai masa tuaku dan putih rambutku, ya Allah, janganlah meninggalkan aku, supaya aku memberitakan kuasa-Mu kepada angkatan ini, keperkasaan-Mu kepada semua orang yang akan datang. |
| 71:19 Thy righteousness also, O God, [is] very high, who hast done great things: O God, who [is] like unto thee! |
71:19 Keadilan-Mu, ya Allah, sampai ke langit. Engkau yang telah melakukan hal-hal yang besar, ya Allah, siapakah seperti Engkau? |
| 71:20 [Thou], which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth. |
71:20 Engkau yang telah membuat aku mengalami banyak kesusahan dan malapetaka, Engkau akan menghidupkan aku kembali, dan dari samudera raya bumi Engkau akan menaikkan aku kembali. |
| 71:21 Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side. |
71:21 Engkau akan menambah kebesaranku dan akan berpaling menghibur aku. |
| 71:22 I will also praise thee with the psaltery, [even] thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel. |
71:22 Akupun mau menyanyikan syukur bagi-Mu dengan gambus atas kesetiaan-Mu, ya Allahku, menyanyikan mazmur bagi-Mu dengan kecapi, ya Yang Kudus Israel. |
| 71:23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. |
71:23 Bibirku bersorak-sorai sementara menyanyikan mazmur bagi-Mu, juga jiwaku yang telah Kaubebaskan. |
| 71:24 My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt. |
71:24 Lidahku juga menyebut-nyebut keadilan-Mu sepanjang hari, sebab akan mendapat malu dan tersipu-sipu orang-orang yang mengikhtiarkan celakaku. |
