| 61:1. <> Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. |
61:1. Untuk pemimpin biduan. Dengan permainan kecapi. Dari Daud. (61-2) Dengarkanlah kiranya seruanku, ya Allah, perhatikanlah doaku! |
| 61:2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock [that] is higher than I. |
61:2 (61-3) Dari ujung bumi aku berseru kepada-Mu, karena hatiku lemah lesu; tuntunlah aku ke gunung batu yang terlalu tinggi bagiku. |
| 61:3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, [and] a strong tower from the enemy. |
61:3 (61-4) Sungguh Engkau telah menjadi tempat perlindunganku, menara yang kuat terhadap musuh. |
| 61:4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. |
61:4 (61-5) Biarlah aku menumpang di dalam kemah-Mu untuk selama-lamanya, biarlah aku berlindung dalam naungan sayap-Mu! Sela |
| 61:5. For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given [me] the heritage of those that fear thy name. |
61:5. (61-6) Sungguh, Engkau, ya Allah, telah mendengarkan nazarku, telah memenuhi permintaan orang-orang yang takut akan nama-Mu. |
| 61:6 Thou wilt prolong the king's life: [and] his years as many generations. |
61:6 (61-7) Tambahilah umur raja, tahun-tahun hidupnya kiranya sampai turun-temurun; |
| 61:7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, [which] may preserve him. |
61:7 (61-8) kiranya ia bersemayam di hadapan Allah selama-lamanya, titahkanlah kasih setia dan kebenaran menjaga dia. |
| 61:8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows. |
61:8 (61-9) Maka aku hendak memazmurkan nama-Mu untuk selamanya, sedang aku membayar nazarku hari demi hari. |
