| 2:1. And an angel [04397] of the LORD [03068] came up [05927] (8799) from Gilgal [01537] to Bochim [01066], and said [0559] (8799), I made you to go up [05927] (8686) out of Egypt [04714], and have brought [0935] (8686) you unto the land [0776] which I sware [07650] (8738) unto your fathers [001]; and I said [0559] (8799), I will never [05769] break [06565] (8686) my covenant [01285] with you. |
2:1. Lalu Malaikat TUHAN pergi dari Gilgal ke Bokhim dan berfirman: "Telah Kutuntun kamu keluar dari Mesir dan Kubawa ke negeri yang Kujanjikan dengan bersumpah kepada nenek moyangmu, dan Aku telah berfirman: Aku tidak akan membatalkan perjanjian-Ku dengan kamu untuk selama-lamanya, |
| 2:2 And ye shall make [03772] (8799) no league [01285] with the inhabitants [03427] (8802) of this land [0776]; ye shall throw down [05422] (8799) their altars [04196]: but ye have not obeyed [08085] (8804) my voice [06963]: why have ye done [06213] (8804) this? |
2:2 tetapi janganlah kamu mengikat perjanjian dengan penduduk negeri ini; mezbah mereka haruslah kamu robohkan. Tetapi kamu tidak mendengarkan firman-Ku. Mengapa kamu perbuat demikian? |
| 2:3 Wherefore I also said [0559] (8804), I will not drive them out [01644] (8762) from before [06440] you; but they shall be {as thorns} in your sides [06654], and their gods [0430] shall be a snare [04170] unto you. |
2:3 Lagi Aku telah berfirman: Aku tidak akan menghalau orang-orang itu dari depanmu, tetapi mereka akan menjadi musuhmu dan segala allah mereka akan menjadi jerat bagimu." |
| 2:4 And it came to pass, when the angel [04397] of the LORD [03068] spake [01696] (8763) these words [01697] unto all the children [01121] of Israel [03478], that the people [05971] lifted up [05375] (8799) their voice [06963], and wept [01058] (8799). |
2:4 Setelah Malaikat TUHAN mengucapkan firman itu kepada seluruh Israel, menangislah bangsa itu dengan keras. |
| 2:5 And they called [07121] (8799) the name [08034] of that place [04725] Bochim [01066]: and they sacrificed [02076] (8799) there unto the LORD [03068]. |
2:5 Maka tempat itu dinamai Bokhim. Lalu mereka mempersembahkan korban di sana kepada TUHAN. |
| 2:6. And when Joshua [03091] had let the people [05971] go [07971] (8762), the children [01121] of Israel [03478] went [03212] (8799) every man [0376] unto his inheritance [05159] to possess [03423] (8800) the land [0776]. |
2:6. Setelah Yosua melepas bangsa itu pergi, maka pergilah orang Israel itu, masing-masing ke milik pusakanya, untuk memiliki negeri itu. |
| 2:7 And the people [05971] served [05647] (8799) the LORD [03068] all the days [03117] of Joshua [03091], and all the days [03117] of the elders [02205] that outlived [0748] (8689) [03117] [0310] Joshua [03091], who had seen [07200] (8804) all the great [01419] works [04639] of the LORD [03068], that he did [06213] (8804) for Israel [03478]. |
2:7 Dan bangsa itu beribadah kepada TUHAN sepanjang zaman Yosua dan sepanjang zaman para tua-tua yang hidup lebih lama dari pada Yosua, dan yang telah melihat segenap perbuatan yang besar, yang dilakukan TUHAN bagi orang Israel. |
| 2:8 And Joshua [03091] the son [01121] of Nun [05126], the servant [05650] of the LORD [03068], died [04191] (8799), {being} an hundred [03967] and ten [06235] years [08141] old [01121]. |
2:8 Dan Yosua bin Nun, hamba TUHAN itu, mati pada umur seratus sepuluh tahun; |
| 2:9 And they buried [06912] (8799) him in the border [01366] of his inheritance [05159] in Timnathheres [08556], in the mount [02022] of Ephraim [0669], on the north side [06828] of the hill [02022] Gaash [01608]. |
2:9 ia dikuburkan di daerah milik pusakanya di Timnat-Heres, di pegunungan Efraim, di sebelah utara gunung Gaas. |
| 2:10 And also all that generation [01755] were gathered [0622] (8738) unto their fathers [001]: and there arose [06965] (8799) another [0312] generation [01755] after [0310] them, which knew [03045] (8804) not the LORD [03068], nor yet the works [04639] which he had done [06213] (8804) for Israel [03478]. |
2:10 Setelah seluruh angkatan itu dikumpulkan kepada nenek moyangnya, bangkitlah sesudah mereka itu angkatan yang lain, yang tidak mengenal TUHAN ataupun perbuatan yang dilakukan-Nya bagi orang Israel. |
| 2:11 And the children [01121] of Israel [03478] did [06213] (8799) evil [07451] in the sight [05869] of the LORD [03068], and served [05647] (8799) Baalim [01168]: |
2:11 Lalu orang Israel melakukan apa yang jahat di mata TUHAN dan mereka beribadah kepada para Baal. |
| 2:12 And they forsook [05800] (8799) the LORD [03068] God [0430] of their fathers [001], which brought them out [03318] (8688) of the land [0776] of Egypt [04714], and followed [03212] (8799) [0310] other [0312] gods [0430], of the gods [0430] of the people [05971] that {were} round about [05439] them, and bowed [07812] (8691) themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD [03068] to anger [03707] (8686). |
2:12 Mereka meninggalkan TUHAN, Allah nenek moyang mereka yang telah membawa mereka keluar dari tanah Mesir, lalu mengikuti allah lain, dari antara allah bangsa-bangsa di sekeliling mereka, dan sujud menyembah kepadanya, sehingga mereka menyakiti hati TUHAN. |
| 2:13 And they forsook [05800] (8799) the LORD [03068], and served [05647] (8799) Baal [01168] and Ashtaroth [06252]. |
2:13 Demikianlah mereka meninggalkan TUHAN dan beribadah kepada Baal dan para Asytoret. |
| 2:14 And the anger [0639] of the LORD [03068] was hot [02734] (8799) against Israel [03478], and he delivered [05414] (8799) them into the hands [03027] of spoilers [08154] (8802) that spoiled [08155] (8799) them, and he sold [04376] (8799) them into the hands [03027] of their enemies [0341] (8802) round about [05439], so that they could [03201] (8804) not any longer [05750] stand [05975] (8800) before [06440] their enemies [0341] (8802). |
2:14 Maka bangkitlah murka TUHAN terhadap orang Israel. Ia menyerahkan mereka ke dalam tangan perampok dan menjual mereka kepada musuh di sekeliling mereka, sehingga mereka tidak sanggup lagi menghadapi musuh mereka. |
| 2:15 Whithersoever they went out [03318] (8804), the hand [03027] of the LORD [03068] was against them for evil [07451], as the LORD [03068] had said [01696] (8765), and as the LORD [03068] had sworn [07650] (8738) unto them: and they were greatly [03966] distressed [03334] (8799). |
2:15 Setiap kali mereka maju, tangan TUHAN melawan mereka dan mendatangkan malapetaka kepada mereka, sesuai dengan apa yang telah diperingatkan kepada mereka oleh TUHAN dengan sumpah, sehingga mereka sangat terdesak. |
| 2:16 Nevertheless the LORD [03068] raised up [06965] (8686) judges [08199] (8802), which delivered [03467] (8686) them out of the hand [03027] of those that spoiled [08154] (8802) them. |
2:16 Maka TUHAN membangkitkan hakim-hakim, yang menyelamatkan mereka dari tangan perampok itu. |
| 2:17 And yet they would not hearken [08085] (8804) unto their judges [08199] (8802), but they went a whoring [02181] (8804) after [0310] other [0312] gods [0430], and bowed [07812] (8691) themselves unto them: they turned [05493] (8804) quickly [04118] out of the way [01870] which their fathers [001] walked in [01980] (8804), obeying [08085] (8800) the commandments [04687] of the LORD [03068]; {but} they did [06213] (8804) not so. |
2:17 Tetapi juga para hakim itu tidak mereka hiraukan, karena mereka berzinah dengan mengikuti allah lain dan sujud menyembah kepadanya. Mereka segera menyimpang dari jalan yang ditempuh oleh nenek moyangnya yang mendengarkan perintah TUHAN; mereka melakukan yang tidak patut. |
| 2:18 And when the LORD [03068] raised [06965] (8689) them up judges [08199] (8802), then the LORD [03068] was with the judge [08199] (8802), and delivered [03467] (8689) them out of the hand [03027] of their enemies [0341] (8802) all the days [03117] of the judge [08199] (8802): for it repented [05162] (8735) the LORD [03068] because [06440] of their groanings [05009] by reason of them that oppressed [03905] (8801) them and vexed [01766] (8802) them. |
2:18 Setiap kali apabila TUHAN membangkitkan seorang hakim bagi mereka, maka TUHAN menyertai hakim itu dan menyelamatkan mereka dari tangan musuh mereka selama hakim itu hidup; sebab TUHAN berbelas kasihan mendengar rintihan mereka karena orang-orang yang mendesak dan menindas mereka. |
| 2:19 And it came to pass, when the judge [08199] (8802) was dead [04194], {that} they returned [07725] (8799), and corrupted [07843] (8689) {themselves} more than their fathers [001], in following [03212] (8800) [0310] other [0312] gods [0430] to serve [05647] (8800) them, and to bow down [07812] (8692) unto them; they ceased [05307] (8689) not from their own doings [04611], nor from their stubborn [07186] way [01870]. |
2:19 Tetapi apabila hakim itu mati, kembalilah mereka berlaku jahat, lebih jahat dari nenek moyang mereka, dengan mengikuti allah lain, beribadah kepadanya dan sujud menyembah kepadanya; dalam hal apapun mereka tidak berhenti dengan perbuatan dan kelakuan mereka yang tegar itu. |
| 2:20 And the anger [0639] of the LORD [03068] was hot [02734] (8799) against Israel [03478]; and he said [0559] (8799), Because that this people [01471] hath transgressed [05674] (8804) my covenant [01285] which I commanded [06680] (8765) their fathers [001], and have not hearkened [08085] (8804) unto my voice [06963]; |
2:20 Apabila murka TUHAN bangkit terhadap orang Israel, berfirmanlah Ia: "Karena bangsa ini melanggar perjanjian yang telah Kuperintahkan kepada nenek moyang mereka, dan tidak mendengarkan firman-Ku, |
| 2:21 I also will not henceforth [03254] (8686) drive out [03423] (8687) any [0376] from before [06440] them of the nations [01471] which Joshua [03091] left [05800] (8804) when he died [04191] (8799): |
2:21 maka Akupun tidak mau menghalau lagi dari depan mereka satupun dari bangsa-bangsa yang ditinggalkan Yosua pada waktu matinya, |
| 2:22 That through them I may prove [05254] (8763) Israel [03478], whether they will keep [08104] (8802) the way [01870] of the LORD [03068] to walk [03212] (8800) therein, as their fathers [001] did keep [08104] (8804) {it}, or not. |
2:22 supaya dengan perantaraan bangsa-bangsa itu Aku mencobai orang Israel, apakah mereka tetap hidup menurut jalan yang ditunjukkan TUHAN, seperti yang dilakukan oleh nenek moyang mereka, atau tidak." |
| 2:23 Therefore the LORD [03068] left [03240] (8686) those nations [01471], without [01115] driving them out [03423] (8687) hastily [04118]; neither delivered [05414] (8804) he them into the hand [03027] of Joshua [03091]. |
2:23 Demikianlah TUHAN membiarkan bangsa-bangsa itu tinggal dengan tidak segera menghalau mereka; mereka tidak diserahkan-Nya ke dalam tangan Yosua. |
