| 6:2 But I have built [01129] (8804) an house [01004] of habitation [02073] for thee, and a place [04349] for thy dwelling [03427] (8800) for ever [05769]. |
6:2 Sekarang, aku telah mendirikan rumah kediaman bagi-Mu, tempat Engkau menetap selama-lamanya." |
| 6:3 And the king [04428] turned [05437] (8686) his face [06440], and blessed [01288] (8762) the whole congregation [06951] of Israel [03478]: and all the congregation [06951] of Israel [03478] stood [05975] (8802). |
6:3 Kemudian berpalinglah raja lalu memberkati seluruh jemaah Israel, sedang segenap jemaah Israel berdiri. |

6:4 Ia berkata: "Terpujilah TUHAN, Allah orang Israel, yang telah menyelesaikan dengan tangan-Nya apa yang difirmankan-Nya dengan mulut-Nya kepada Daud, ayahku, demikian: |
| 6:5 Since the day [03117] that I brought forth [03318] (8689) my people [05971] out of the land [0776] of Egypt [04714] I chose [0977] (8804) no city [05892] among all the tribes [07626] of Israel [03478] to build [01129] (8800) an house [01004] in, that my name [08034] might be there; neither chose [0977] (8804) I any man [0376] to be a ruler [05057] over my people [05971] Israel [03478]: |
6:5 Sejak Aku membawa umat-Ku keluar dari tanah Mesir, tidak ada kota yang Kupilih di antara segala suku Israel untuk mendirikan rumah di sana sebagai tempat kediaman nama-Ku, dan tidak ada orang yang Kupilih untuk menjadi raja atas umat-Ku Israel. |
| 6:6 But I have chosen [0977] (8799) Jerusalem [03389], that my name [08034] might be there; and have chosen [0977] (8799) David [01732] to be over my people [05971] Israel [03478]. |
6:6 Tetapi kemudian Aku memilih Yerusalem sebagai tempat kediaman nama-Ku dan memilih Daud untuk berkuasa atas umat-Ku Israel. |
| 6:7 Now it was in the heart [03824] of David [01732] my father [001] to build [01129] (8800) an house [01004] for the name [08034] of the LORD [03068] God [0430] of Israel [03478]. |
6:7 Ketika Daud, ayahku, bermaksud mendirikan rumah untuk nama TUHAN, Allah Israel, |
| 6:8 But the LORD [03068] said [0559] (8799) to David [01732] my father [001], Forasmuch as it was in thine heart [03824] to build [01129] (8800) an house [01004] for my name [08034], thou didst well [02895] (8689) in that it was in thine heart [03824]: |
6:8 berfirmanlah TUHAN kepadanya: Engkau bermaksud mendirikan rumah untuk nama-Ku, dan maksudmu itu memanglah baik; |
| 6:9 Notwithstanding [07535] thou shalt not build [01129] (8799) the house [01004]; but thy son [01121] which shall come forth [03318] (8802) out of thy loins [02504], he shall build [01129] (8799) the house [01004] for my name [08034]. |
6:9 hanya, bukanlah engkau yang akan mendirikan rumah itu, melainkan anak kandungmu yang akan lahir kelak, dialah yang akan mendirikan rumah itu untuk nama-Ku. |
| 6:10 The LORD [03068] therefore hath performed [06965] (8686) his word [01697] that he hath spoken [01696] (8765): for I am risen up [06965] (8799) in the room of David [01732] my father [001], and am set [03427] (8799) on the throne [03678] of Israel [03478], as the LORD [03068] promised [01696] (8765), and have built [01129] (8799) the house [01004] for the name [08034] of the LORD [03068] God [0430] of Israel [03478]. |
6:10 Jadi TUHAN telah menepati janji yang telah diucapkan-Nya; aku telah bangkit menggantikan Daud, ayahku, dan telah duduk di atas takhta kerajaan Israel, seperti yang difirmankan TUHAN; aku telah mendirikan rumah ini untuk nama TUHAN, Allah Israel, |
| 6:11 And in it [08033] have I put [07760] (8799) the ark [0727], wherein {is} the covenant [01285] of the LORD [03068], that he made [03772] (8804) with the children [01121] of Israel [03478]. |
6:11 dan telah menempatkan di sana tabut, yang memuat perjanjian yang telah diikat TUHAN dengan orang Israel." |

6:13 --karena Salomo telah membuat sebuah mimbar tembaga yang panjangnya lima hasta, lebarnya lima hasta dan tingginya tiga hasta, yang ditaruhnya di halaman--;ia berdiri di atasnya lalu berlutut di hadapan segenap jemaah Israel dan menadahkan tangannya ke langit, |
| 6:14 And said [0559] (8799), O LORD [03068] God [0430] of Israel [03478], {there is} no God [0430] like thee in the heaven [08064], nor in the earth [0776]; which keepest [08104] (8802) covenant [01285], and {shewest} mercy [02617] unto thy servants [05650], that walk [01980] (8802) before [06440] thee with all their hearts [03820]: |
6:14 sambil berkata: "Ya TUHAN, Allah Israel! Tidak ada Allah seperti Engkau di langit dan di bumi; Engkau yang memelihara perjanjian dan kasih setia kepada hamba-hamba-Mu yang dengan segenap hatinya hidup di hadapan-Mu; |
| 6:15 Thou which hast kept [08104] (8804) with thy servant [05650] David [01732] my father [001] that which thou hast promised [01696] (8765) him; and spakest [01696] (8762) with thy mouth [06310], and hast fulfilled [04390] (8765) {it} with thine hand [03027], as {it is} this day [03117]. |
6:15 Engkau yang tetap berpegang pada janji-Mu terhadap hamba-Mu Daud, ayahku, dan yang telah menggenapi dengan tangan-Mu apa yang Kaufirmankan dengan mulut-Mu, seperti yang terjadi pada hari ini. |
| 6:16 Now therefore, O LORD [03068] God [0430] of Israel [03478], keep [08104] (8798) with thy servant [05650] David [01732] my father [001] that which thou hast promised [01696] (8765) him, saying [0559] (8800), There shall not fail [03772] (8735) thee a man [0376] in my sight [06440] to sit [03427] (8802) upon the throne [03678] of Israel [03478]; yet so [07535] that thy children [01121] take heed [08104] (8799) to their way [01870] to walk [03212] (8800) in my law [08451], as thou hast walked [01980] (8804) before [06440] me. |
6:16 Maka sekarang, ya TUHAN, Allah Israel, peliharalah apa yang Kaujanjikan kepada hamba-Mu Daud, ayahku, dengan berkata: Keturunanmu takkan terputus di hadapan-Ku dan tetap akan duduk di atas takhta kerajaan Israel, asal anak-anakmu tetap hidup menurut hukum-Ku sama seperti engkau hidup di hadapan-Ku. |
| 6:17 Now then, O LORD [03068] God [0430] of Israel [03478], let thy word [01697] be verified [0539] (8735), which thou hast spoken [01696] (8765) unto thy servant [05650] David [01732]. |
6:17 Maka sekarang, ya TUHAN, Allah Israel, biarlah terbukti kebenaran firman-Mu yang telah Kauucapkan kepada hamba-Mu Daud. |
| 6:18 But will God [0430] in very deed [0552] dwell [03427] (8799) with men [0120] on the earth [0776]? behold, heaven [08064] and the heaven [08064] of heavens [08064] cannot contain [03557] (8770) thee; how much less this house [01004] which I have built [01129] (8804)! |
6:18 Tetapi benarkah Allah hendak diam bersama dengan manusia di atas bumi? Sesungguhnya langit, bahkan langit yang mengatasi segala langitpun tidaklah dapat memuat Engkau, terlebih lagi rumah yang kudirikan ini. |
| 6:19 Have respect [06437] (8804) therefore to the prayer [08605] of thy servant [05650], and to his supplication [08467], O LORD [03068] my God [0430], to hearken [08085] (8800) unto the cry [07440] and the prayer [08605] which thy servant [05650] prayeth [06419] (8693) before [06440] thee: |
6:19 Maka berpalinglah kepada doa dan permohonan hamba-Mu ini, ya TUHAN Allahku, dengarkanlah seruan dan doa yang hamba-Mu panjatkan di hadapan-Mu ini! |
| 6:20 That thine eyes [05869] may be open [06605] (8803) upon this house [01004] day [03119] and night [03915], upon the place [04725] whereof thou hast said [0559] (8804) that thou wouldest put [07760] (8800) thy name [08034] there; to hearken [08085] (8800) unto the prayer [08605] which thy servant [05650] prayeth [06419] (8691) toward this place [04725]. |
6:20 Kiranya mata-Mu terbuka terhadap rumah ini, siang dan malam, terhadap tempat yang Kaukatakan akan menjadi kediaman nama-Mu--dengarkanlah doa yang hamba-Mu panjatkan di tempat ini. |
| 6:21 Hearken [08085] (8804) therefore unto the supplications [08469] of thy servant [05650], and of thy people [05971] Israel [03478], which they shall make [06419] (8691) toward this place [04725]: hear [08085] (8799) thou from thy dwelling [03427] (8800) place [04725], {even} from heaven [08064]; and when thou hearest [08085] (8804), forgive [05545] (8804). |
6:21 Dan dengarkanlah permohonan hamba-Mu dan umat-Mu Israel yang mereka panjatkan di tempat ini; bahwa Engkau juga yang mendengarnya dari tempat kediaman-Mu, dari sorga; dan apabila Engkau mendengarnya, maka Engkau akan mengampuni. |
| 6:22 If a man [0376] sin [02398] (8799) against his neighbour [07453], and an oath [0423] be laid [05375] (8804) upon him to make him swear [0422] (8687), and the oath [0423] come [0935] (8804) before [06440] thine altar [04196] in this house [01004]; |
6:22 Jika seseorang telah berdosa kepada temannya, lalu diwajibkan mengangkat sumpah dengan mengutuk dirinya, dan ia datang bersumpah ke depan mezbah-Mu di dalam rumah ini, |
| 6:23 Then hear [08085] (8799) thou from heaven [08064], and do [06213] (8804), and judge [08199] (8804) thy servants [05650], by requiting [07725] (8687) the wicked [07563], by recompensing [05414] (8800) his way [01870] upon his own head [07218]; and by justifying [06663] (8687) the righteous [06662], by giving [05414] (8800) him according to his righteousness [06666]. |
6:23 maka Engkaupun hendaklah mendengar dari sorga dan bertindak serta mengadili hamba-hamba-Mu, yakni membalas perbuatan orang bersalah dengan menanggungkannya kepada orang itu sendiri, tetapi membenarkan orang yang benar dengan membalaskan kepadanya sesuai dengan kebenarannya. |
| 6:24 And if thy people [05971] Israel [03478] be put to the worse [05062] (8735) before [06440] the enemy [0341] (8802), because they have sinned [02398] (8799) against thee; and shall return [07725] (8804) and confess [03034] (8689) thy name [08034], and pray [06419] (8694) and make supplication [02603] (8694) before [06440] thee in this house [01004]; |
6:24 Apabila umat-Mu Israel terpukul kalah oleh musuhnya karena mereka berdosa kepada-Mu, kemudian mereka berbalik dan mengakui nama-Mu, dan mereka berdoa dan memohon di hadapan-Mu di rumah ini, |
| 6:25 Then hear [08085] (8799) thou from the heavens [08064], and forgive [05545] (8804) the sin [02403] of thy people [05971] Israel [03478], and bring them again [07725] (8689) unto the land [0127] which thou gavest [05414] (8804) to them and to their fathers [001]. |
6:25 maka Engkaupun kiranya mendengar dari sorga dan mengampuni dosa umat-Mu Israel dan mengembalikan mereka ke tanah yang telah Kauberikan kepada mereka dan nenek moyang mereka. |
| 6:26 When the heaven [08064] is shut up [06113] (8736), and there is no rain [04306], because they have sinned [02398] (8799) against thee; {yet} if they pray [06419] (8694) toward this place [04725], and confess [03034] (8689) thy name [08034], and turn [07725] (8799) from their sin [02403], when thou dost afflict [06031] (8686) them; |
6:26 Apabila langit tertutup, sehingga tidak ada hujan, sebab mereka berdosa kepada-Mu, lalu mereka berdoa di tempat ini dan mengakui nama-Mu dan mereka berbalik dari dosanya, sebab Engkau telah menindas mereka, |
| 6:27 Then hear [08085] (8799) thou from heaven [08064], and forgive [05545] (8804) the sin [02403] of thy servants [05650], and of thy people [05971] Israel [03478], when thou hast taught [03384] (8686) them the good [02896] way [01870], wherein they should walk [03212] (8799); and send [05414] (8804) rain [04306] upon thy land [0776], which thou hast given [05414] (8804) unto thy people [05971] for an inheritance [05159]. |
6:27 maka Engkaupun kiranya mendengarkannya di sorga dan mengampuni dosa hamba-hamba-Mu, umat-Mu Israel, --karena Engkaulah yang menunjukkan kepada mereka jalan yang baik yang harus mereka jalani--dan Engkau kiranya memberikan hujan kepada tanah-Mu yang telah Kauberikan kepada umat-Mu menjadi milik pusaka. |
| 6:28 If there be dearth [07458] in the land [0776], if there be pestilence [01698], if there be blasting [07711], or mildew [03420], locusts [0697], or caterpillers [02625]; if their enemies [0341] (8802) besiege [06887] (8686) them in the cities [08179] of their land [0776]; whatsoever sore [05061] or whatsoever sickness [04245] {there be}: |
6:28 Apabila ada kelaparan di negeri ini, apabila ada penyakit sampar, hama dan penyakit gandum, belalang dan belalang pelahap, apabila musuh menyesakkan mereka di salah satu kota mereka, apabila ada tulah atau penyakit apapun, |

6:30 maka Engkaupun kiranya mendengar dari sorga, tempat kediaman-Mu yang tetap, dan kiranya Engkau mengampuni, dan membalas kepada setiap orang sesuai dengan segala perbuatannya, karena Engkau mengenal hatinya--sebab Engkau sajalah yang mengenal hati anak-anak manusia, -- |
| 6:31 That they may fear [03372] (8799) thee, to walk [03212] (8800) in thy ways [01870], so long as [03117] they live [02416] [06440] in the land [0127] which thou gavest [05414] (8804) unto our fathers [001]. |
6:31 supaya mereka takut akan Engkau dan mengikuti segala jalan yang Engkau tunjukkan selama mereka hidup di atas tanah yang telah Kauberikan kepada nenek moyang kami. |

6:32 Juga apabila seorang asing, yang tidak termasuk umat-Mu Israel, datang dari negeri jauh oleh karena nama-Mu yang besar, tangan-Mu yang kuat dan lengan-Mu yang teracung, dan ia datang berdoa di rumah ini, |
| 6:33 Then hear [08085] (8799) thou from the heavens [08064], {even} from thy dwelling [03427] (8800) place [04349], and do [06213] (8804) according to all that the stranger [05237] calleth [07121] (8799) to thee for; that all people [05971] of the earth [0776] may know [03045] (8799) thy name [08034], and fear [03372] (8800) thee, as {doth} thy people [05971] Israel [03478], and may know [03045] (8800) that this house [01004] which I have built [01129] (8804) is called [07121] (8738) by thy name [08034]. |
6:33 maka Engkaupun kiranya mendengar dari sorga, dari tempat kediaman-Mu yang tetap, dan kiranya Engkau bertindak sesuai dengan segala yang diserukan kepada-Mu oleh orang asing itu, supaya segala bangsa di bumi mengenal nama-Mu, sehingga mereka takut akan Engkau sama seperti umat-Mu Israel, dan sehingga mereka tahu, bahwa nama-Mu telah diserukan atas rumah yang telah kudirikan ini. |
| 6:34 If thy people [05971] go out [03318] (8799) to war [04421] against their enemies [0341] (8802) by the way [01870] that thou shalt send [07971] (8799) them, and they pray [06419] (8694) unto thee toward [01870] this city [05892] which thou hast chosen [0977] (8804), and the house [01004] which I have built [01129] (8804) for thy name [08034]; |
6:34 Apabila umat-Mu keluar untuk berperang melawan musuh-musuhnya, ke arah manapun Engkau menyuruh mereka, dan apabila mereka berdoa kepada-Mu dengan berkiblat ke kota yang telah Kaupilih ini dan ke rumah yang telah kudirikan bagi nama-Mu, |
| 6:35 Then hear [08085] (8804) thou from the heavens [08064] their prayer [08605] and their supplication [08467], and maintain [06213] (8804) their cause [04941]. |
6:35 maka Engkau kiranya mendengar dari sorga doa dan permohonan mereka dan Engkau kiranya memberikan keadilan kepada mereka. |
| 6:36 If they sin [02398] (8799) against thee, (for {there is} no man [0120] which sinneth [02398] (8799) not,) and thou be angry [0599] (8804) with them, and deliver [05414] (8804) them over before [06440] {their} enemies [0341] (8802), and they carry them away [07617] (8804) captives [07617] (8802) unto a land [0776] far off [07350] or near [07138]; |
6:36 Apabila mereka berdosa kepada-Mu--karena tidak ada manusia yang tidak berdosa--dan Engkau murka kepada mereka dan menyerahkan mereka kepada musuh, sehingga mereka diangkut tertawan ke negeri yang jauh atau yang dekat, |

6:37 dan apabila mereka sadar kembali dalam hatinya di negeri tempat mereka tertawan, dan mereka berbalik, dan memohon kepada-Mu di negeri tempat mereka tertawan, dengan berkata: Kami telah berdosa, bersalah, dan berbuat fasik, |

6:38 apabila mereka berbalik kepada-Mu dengan segenap hatinya dan dengan segenap jiwanya di negeri orang-orang yang mengangkut mereka tertawan, dan apabila mereka berdoa kepada-Mu dengan berkiblat ke negeri mereka yang telah Kauberikan kepada nenek moyang mereka, ke kota yang telah Kaupilih dan ke rumah yang telah kudirikan bagi nama-Mu, |
| 6:39 Then hear [08085] (8804) thou from the heavens [08064], {even} from thy dwelling [03427] (8800) place [04349], their prayer [08605] and their supplications [08467], and maintain [06213] (8804) their cause [04941], and forgive [05545] (8804) thy people [05971] which have sinned [02398] (8804) against thee. |
6:39 maka Engkau kiranya mendengarkan dari sorga, dari tempat kediaman-Mu yang tetap, kepada doa dan segala permohonan mereka dan kiranya Engkau memberikan keadilan kepada mereka, dan Engkau kiranya mengampuni umat-Mu yang telah berdosa kepada-Mu. |
| 6:40 Now, my God [0430], let, I beseech thee, thine eyes [05869] be open [06605] (8803), and {let} thine ears [0241] {be} attent [07183] unto the prayer [08605] {that is made} in this place [04725]. |
6:40 Sebab itu, ya Allahku, kiranya mata-Mu terbuka dan telinga-Mu menaruh perhatian kepada doa yang dipanjatkan di tempat ini. |

6:41 Dan sekarang, bangunlah ya TUHAN Allah, dan pergilah ke tempat perhentian-Mu, Engkau serta tabut kekuatan-Mu! Kiranya, ya TUHAN Allah, imam-imam-Mu berpakaian keselamatan, dan orang-orang yang Kaukasihi bersukacita karena kebaikan-Mu. |

6:42 Ya TUHAN Allah, janganlah Engkau menolak orang yang telah Kauurapi, ingatlah akan segala kasih setia-Mu kepada Daud, hamba-Mu itu." |
