14:1. Hiram, raja negeri Tirus, mengirim utusan kepada Daud dan kayu aras, tukang-tukang batu dan tukang-tukang kayu untuk mendirikan sebuah istana baginya. |
| 14:2 And David [01732] perceived [03045] (8799) that the LORD [03068] had confirmed [03559] (8689) him king [04428] over Israel [03478], for his kingdom [04438] was lifted up [05375] (8738) on high [04605], because of his people [05971] Israel [03478]. |
14:2 Lalu tahulah Daud, bahwa TUHAN telah menegakkan dia sebagai raja atas Israel, sebab martabat pemerintahannya terangkat tinggi oleh karena Israel umat-Nya. |
| 14:3 And David [01732] took [03947] (8799) more wives [0802] at Jerusalem [03389]: and David [01732] begat [03205] (8686) more sons [01121] and daughters [01323]. |
14:3 Daud mengambil lagi beberapa isteri di Yerusalem, dan ia memperanakkan lagi anak-anak lelaki dan perempuan. |
| 14:4 Now these {are} the names [08034] of {his} children [03205] (8803) which he had in Jerusalem [03389]; Shammua [08051], and Shobab [07727], Nathan [05416], and Solomon [08010], |
14:4 Inilah nama anak-anak yang lahir bagi dia di Yerusalem: Syamua, Sobab, Natan, Salomo, |

14:5 Yibhar, Elisua, Elpelet, |
| 14:6 And Nogah [05052], and Nepheg [05298], and Japhia [03309], |
14:6 Nogah, Nefeg, Yafia, |
| 14:7 And Elishama [0476], and Beeliada [01182], and Eliphalet [0467]. |
14:7 Elisama, Beelyada dan Elifelet. |
| 14:8. And when the Philistines [06430] heard [08085] (8799) that David [01732] was anointed [04886] (8738) king [04428] over all Israel [03478], all the Philistines [06430] went up [05927] (8799) to seek [01245] (8763) David [01732]. And David [01732] heard [08085] (8799) {of it}, and went out [03318] (8799) against [06440] them. |
14:8. Ketika didengar orang Filistin, bahwa Daud telah diurapi menjadi raja atas seluruh Israel, maka majulah semua orang Filistin untuk menangkap Daud. Tetapi Daud mendengar hal itu, lalu majulah ia menghadapi mereka. |
| 14:9 And the Philistines [06430] came [0935] (8804) and spread [06584] (8799) themselves in the valley [06010] of Rephaim [07497]. |
14:9 Ketika orang Filistin itu datang dan mengadakan penyerbuan di lembah Refaim, |
| 14:10 And David [01732] enquired [07592] (8799) of God [0430], saying [0559] (8800), Shall I go up [05927] (8799) against the Philistines [06430]? and wilt thou deliver [05414] (8804) them into mine hand [03027]? And the LORD [03068] said [0559] (8799) unto him, Go up [05927] (8798); for I will deliver [05414] (8804) them into thine hand [03027]. |
14:10 bertanyalah Daud kepada Allah: "Apakah aku harus maju melawan orang Filistin itu dan akan Kauserahkankah mereka ke dalam tanganku?" TUHAN menjawab: "Majulah, Aku akan menyerahkan mereka ke dalam tanganmu." |
| 14:11 So they came up [05927] (8799) to Baalperazim [01188]; and David [01732] smote [05221] (8686) them there. Then David [01732] said [0559] (8799), God [0430] hath broken in [06555] (8804) upon mine enemies [0341] (8802) by mine hand [03027] like the breaking forth [06556] of waters [04325]: therefore they called [07121] (8804) the name [08034] of that place [04725] Baalperazim [01188]. |
14:11 Lalu majulah ia ke Baal-Perasim, dan Daud memukul mereka kalah di sana. Berkatalah Daud: "Allah telah menerobos musuhku dengan perantaraanku seperti air menerobos." Sebab itu orang menamakan tempat itu Baal-Perasim. |
| 14:12 And when they had left [05800] (8799) their gods [0430] there, David [01732] gave a commandment [0559] (8799), and they were burned [08313] (8735) with fire [0784]. |
14:12 Orang Filistin itu meninggalkan para allahnya di sana, lalu orang Israel membakarnya habis atas perintah Daud. |
| 14:13 And the Philistines [06430] yet again [03254] (8686) spread themselves abroad [06584] (8799) in the valley [06010]. |
14:13 Ketika orang Filistin menyerbu sekali lagi di lembah itu, |
| 14:14 Therefore David [01732] enquired [07592] (8799) again of God [0430]; and God [0430] said [0559] (8799) unto him, Go not up [05927] (8799) after [0310] them; turn away [05437] (8685) from them, and come [0935] (8804) upon them over against [04136] the mulberry trees [01057]. |
14:14 maka bertanyalah lagi Daud kepada Allah, lalu Allah menjawab: "Janganlah maju di belakang mereka, tetapi buatlah gerakan lingkaran terhadap mereka, sehingga engkau dapat menyerang mereka dari jurusan pohon-pohon kertau. |
| 14:15 And it shall be, when thou shalt hear [08085] (8800) a sound [06963] of going [06807] in the tops [07218] of the mulberry trees [01057], {that} then thou shalt go out [03318] (8799) to battle [04421]: for God [0430] is gone forth [03318] (8804) before [06440] thee to smite [05221] (8687) the host [04264] of the Philistines [06430]. |
14:15 Dan bila engkau mendengar bunyi derap langkah di puncak pohon-pohon kertau itu, maka haruslah engkau keluar bertempur, sebab Allah telah keluar berperang di depanmu untuk memukul kalah tentara orang Filistin." |
| 14:16 David [01732] therefore did [06213] (8799) as God [0430] commanded [06680] (8765) him: and they smote [05221] (8686) the host [04264] of the Philistines [06430] from Gibeon [01391] even to Gazer [01507]. |
14:16 Dan Daud berbuat seperti yang diperintahkan Allah kepadanya, maka mereka memukul kalah tentara orang Filistin, mulai dari Gibeon sampai Gezer. |
| 14:17 And the fame [08034] of David [01732] went out [03318] (8799) into all lands [0776]; and the LORD [03068] brought [05414] (8804) the fear [06343] of him upon all nations [01471]. |
14:17 Lalu termasyhurlah nama Daud di segala negeri, dan TUHAN mendatangkan rasa takut kepadanya atas segala bangsa. |
