| 12:1. And Samuel [08050] said [0559] (8799) unto all Israel [03478], Behold, I have hearkened [08085] (8804) unto your voice [06963] in all that ye said [0559] (8804) unto me, and have made [04427] (8686) a king [04428] over you. |
12:1. Berkatalah Samuel kepada seluruh orang Israel: "Telah kudengarkan segala permintaanmu yang kamu sampaikan kepadaku, dan seorang raja telah kuangkat atasmu. |
| 12:2 And now, behold, the king [04428] walketh [01980] (8693) before [06440] you: and I am old [02204] (8804) and grayheaded [07867] (8804); and, behold, my sons [01121] {are} with you: and I have walked [01980] (8694) before [06440] you from my childhood [05271] unto this day [03117]. |
12:2 Maka sekarang raja itulah yang menjadi pemimpinmu; tetapi aku ini telah menjadi tua dan beruban, dan bukankah anak-anakku laki-laki ada di antara kamu? Akulah yang menjadi pemimpinmu dari sejak mudaku sampai hari ini. |
| 12:3 Behold, here I {am}: witness [06030] (8798) against me before the LORD [03068], and before his anointed [04899]: whose ox [07794] have I taken [03947] (8804)? or whose ass [02543] have I taken [03947] (8804)? or whom have I defrauded [06231] (8804)? whom have I oppressed [07533] (8804)? or of whose hand [03027] have I received {any} bribe [03724] to blind [05956] (8686) mine eyes [05869] therewith? and I will restore [07725] (8686) it you. |
12:3 Di sini aku berdiri. Berikanlah kesaksian menentang aku di hadapan TUHAN dan di hadapan orang yang diurapi-Nya: Lembu siapakah yang telah kuambil? Keledai siapakah yang telah kuambil? Siapakah yang telah kuperas? Siapakah yang telah kuperlakukan dengan kekerasan? Dari tangan siapakah telah kuterima sogok sehingga aku harus tutup mata? Aku akan mengembalikannya kepadamu." |
| 12:4 And they said [0559] (8799), Thou hast not defrauded [06231] (8804) us, nor oppressed [07533] (8804) us, neither hast thou taken [03947] (8804) ought [03972] of any man's [0376] hand [03027]. |
12:4 Jawab mereka: "Engkau tidak memeras kami dan engkau tidak memperlakukan kami dengan kekerasan dan engkau tidak menerima apa-apa dari tangan siapapun." |
| 12:5 And he said [0559] (8799) unto them, The LORD [03068] {is} witness [05707] against you, and his anointed [04899] {is} witness [05707] this day [03117], that ye have not found [04672] (8804) ought [03972] in my hand [03027]. And they answered [0559] (8799), {He is} witness [05707]. |
12:5 Lalu berkatalah ia kepada mereka: "TUHAN menjadi saksi kepada kamu, dan orang yang diurapi-Nyapun menjadi saksi pada hari ini, bahwa kamu tidak mendapat apa-apa dalam tanganku." Jawab mereka: "Dia menjadi saksi." |
| 12:6. And Samuel [08050] said [0559] (8799) unto the people [05971], {It is} the LORD [03068] that advanced [06213] (8804) Moses [04872] and Aaron [0175], and that brought [05927] (0) your fathers [001] up [05927] (8689) out of the land [0776] of Egypt [04714]. |
12:6. Lalu berkatalah Samuel kepada bangsa itu: "Tuhanlah saksi, yang mengangkat Musa dan Harun dan yang menuntun nenek moyangmu keluar dari tanah Mesir. |
| 12:7 Now therefore stand still [03320] (8690), that I may reason [08199] (8735) with you before [06440] the LORD [03068] of all the righteous acts [06666] of the LORD [03068], which he did [06213] (8804) to you and to your fathers [001]. |
12:7 Maka sebab itu, berdirilah supaya aku bersama-sama dengan kamu berhakim di hadapan TUHAN mengenai segala perbuatan keselamatan TUHAN yang telah dikerjakan-Nya kepadamu dan kepada nenek moyangmu. |
| 12:8 When Jacob [03290] was come [0935] (8804) into Egypt [04714], and your fathers [001] cried [02199] (8799) unto the LORD [03068], then the LORD [03068] sent [07971] (8799) Moses [04872] and Aaron [0175], which brought forth [03318] (8686) your fathers [001] out of Egypt [04714], and made them dwell [03427] (8686) in this place [04725]. |
12:8 Ketika Yakub datang ke Mesir dan nenek moyangmu berseru-seru kepada TUHAN, maka TUHAN mengutus Musa dan Harun, yang membawa nenek moyangmu keluar dari Mesir, dan membiarkan mereka diam di tempat ini. |
| 12:9 And when they forgat [07911] (8799) the LORD [03068] their God [0430], he sold [04376] (8799) them into the hand [03027] of Sisera [05516], captain [08269] of the host [06635] of Hazor [02674], and into the hand [03027] of the Philistines [06430], and into the hand [03027] of the king [04428] of Moab [04124], and they fought [03898] (8735) against them. |
12:9 Tetapi mereka melupakan TUHAN, Allah mereka, dan Ia menyerahkan mereka ke dalam tangan Sisera, panglima tentara di Hazor, dan ke dalam tangan orang Filistin dan raja Moab, yang berperang melawan mereka. |
| 12:10 And they cried [02199] (8799) unto the LORD [03068], and said [0559] (8799), We have sinned [02398] (8804), because we have forsaken [05800] (8804) the LORD [03068], and have served [05647] (8799) Baalim [01168] and Ashtaroth [06252]: but now deliver [05337] (8685) us out of the hand [03027] of our enemies [0341] (8802), and we will serve [05647] (8799) thee. |
12:10 Mereka berseru-seru kepada TUHAN, katanya: Kami telah berdosa, sebab kami telah meninggalkan TUHAN dan beribadah kepada para Baal dan para Asytoret; maka sekarang lepaskanlah kami dari tangan musuh kami, maka kami akan beribadah kepada-Mu. |
| 12:11 And the LORD [03068] sent [07971] (8799) Jerubbaal [03378], and Bedan [0917], and Jephthah [03316], and Samuel [08050], and delivered [05337] (8686) you out of the hand [03027] of your enemies [0341] (8802) on every side [05439], and ye dwelled [03427] (8799) safe [0983]. |
12:11 Sesudah itu TUHAN mengutus Yerubaal, Barak, Yefta dan Samuel, dan melepaskan kamu dari tangan musuh di sekelilingmu, sehingga kamu diam dengan tenteram. |
| 12:12 And when ye saw [07200] (8799) that Nahash [05176] the king [04428] of the children [01121] of Ammon [05983] came [0935] (8804) against you, ye said [0559] (8799) unto me, Nay; but a king [04428] shall reign [04427] (8799) over us: when the LORD [03068] your God [0430] {was} your king [04428]. |
12:12 Tetapi ketika kamu melihat, bahwa Nahas, raja bani Amon, mendatangi kamu, maka kamu berkata kepadaku: Tidak, seorang raja harus memerintah kami, padahal TUHAN, Allahmu, adalah rajamu. |
| 12:13 Now therefore behold the king [04428] whom ye have chosen [0977] (8804), {and} whom ye have desired [07592] (8804)! and, behold, the LORD [03068] hath set [05414] (8804) a king [04428] over you. |
12:13 Maka sebab itu, lihat itu raja yang telah kamu pilih, yang kamu minta. Sesungguhnya TUHAN telah mengangkat raja atasmu, |
| 12:14 If ye will fear [03372] (8799) the LORD [03068], and serve [05647] (8804) him, and obey [08085] (8804) his voice [06963], and not rebel [04784] (8686) against the commandment [06310] of the LORD [03068], then shall both ye and also the king [04428] that reigneth [04427] (8804) over you continue following [0310] the LORD [03068] your God [0430]: |
12:14 asal saja kamu takut akan TUHAN, beribadah kepada-Nya, mendengarkan firman-Nya dan tidak menentang titah TUHAN, dan baik kamu, maupun raja yang akan memerintah kamu itu mengikuti TUHAN, Allahmu! |
| 12:15 But if ye will not obey [08085] (8799) the voice [06963] of the LORD [03068], but rebel [04784] (8804) against the commandment [06310] of the LORD [03068], then shall the hand [03027] of the LORD [03068] be against you, as {it was} against your fathers [001]. |
12:15 Tetapi jika kamu tidak mendengarkan firman TUHAN dan kamu menentang titah TUHAN, maka tangan TUHAN akan melawan kamu dan melawan rajamu. |
| 12:16. Now therefore [01571] stand [03320] (8690) and see [07200] (8798) this great [01419] thing [01697], which the LORD [03068] will do [06213] (8802) before your eyes [05869]. |
12:16. Sekarang tinggallah berdiri dan lihatlah perkara yang besar yang akan dilakukan TUHAN di depan matamu ini. |
| 12:17 {Is it} not wheat [02406] harvest [07105] to day [03117]? I will call [07121] (8799) unto the LORD [03068], and he shall send [05414] (8799) thunder [06963] and rain [04306]; that ye may perceive [03045] (8798) and see [07200] (8798) that your wickedness [07451] {is} great [07227], which ye have done [06213] (8804) in the sight [05869] of the LORD [03068], in asking [07592] (8800) you a king [04428]. |
12:17 Bukankah sekarang musim menuai gandum? Aku akan berseru kepada TUHAN, supaya Ia memberikan guruh dan hujan. Lihatlah dan sadarlah, bahwa besar kejahatan yang telah kamu lakukan itu di mata TUHAN dengan meminta raja bagimu." |
| 12:18 So Samuel [08050] called [07121] (8799) unto the LORD [03068]; and the LORD [03068] sent [05414] (8799) thunder [06963] and rain [04306] that day [03117]: and all the people [05971] greatly [03966] feared [03372] (8799) the LORD [03068] and Samuel [08050]. |
12:18 Lalu berserulah Samuel kepada TUHAN, maka TUHAN memberikan pada hari itu guruh dan hujan, sehingga sangat takutlah seluruh bangsa itu kepada TUHAN dan kepada Samuel. |
| 12:19 And all the people [05971] said [0559] (8799) unto Samuel [08050], Pray [06419] (8690) for thy servants [05650] unto the LORD [03068] thy God [0430], that we die [04191] (8799) not: for we have added [03254] (8804) unto all our sins [02403] {this} evil [07451], to ask [07592] (8800) us a king [04428]. |
12:19 Berkatalah seluruh bangsa itu kepada Samuel: "Berdoalah untuk hamba-hambamu ini kepada TUHAN, Allahmu, supaya jangan kami mati, sebab dengan meminta raja bagi kami, kami menambah dosa kami dengan kejahatan ini." |
| 12:20 And Samuel [08050] said [0559] (8799) unto the people [05971], Fear [03372] (8799) not: ye have done [06213] (8804) all this wickedness [07451]: yet turn not aside [05493] (8799) from following [0310] the LORD [03068], but serve [05647] (8804) the LORD [03068] with all your heart [03824]; |
12:20 Dan berkatalah Samuel kepada bangsa itu: "Jangan takut; memang kamu telah melakukan segala kejahatan ini, tetapi janganlah berhenti mengikuti TUHAN, melainkan beribadahlah kepada TUHAN dengan segenap hatimu. |
| 12:21 And turn ye not aside [05493] (8799): for {then should ye go} after [0310] vain [08414] {things}, which cannot profit [03276] (8686) nor deliver [05337] (8686); for they {are} vain [08414]. |
12:21 Janganlah menyimpang untuk mengejar dewa kesia-siaan yang tidak berguna dan tidak dapat menolong karena semuanya itu adalah kesia-siaan belaka. |
| 12:22 For the LORD [03068] will not forsake [05203] (8799) his people [05971] for his great [01419] name's [08034] sake: because it hath pleased [02974] (8689) the LORD [03068] to make [06213] (8800) you his people [05971]. |
12:22 Sebab TUHAN tidak akan membuang umat-Nya, sebab nama-Nya yang besar. Bukankah TUHAN telah berkenan untuk membuat kamu menjadi umat-Nya? |
| 12:23 Moreover as for me [0595], God forbid [02486] that I should sin [02398] (8800) against the LORD [03068] in ceasing [02308] (8800) to pray [06419] (8692) for you: but I will teach [03384] (8689) you the good [02896] and the right [03477] way [01870]: |
12:23 Mengenai aku, jauhlah dari padaku untuk berdosa kepada TUHAN dengan berhenti mendoakan kamu; aku akan mengajarkan kepadamu jalan yang baik dan lurus. |
| 12:24 Only fear [03372] (8798) the LORD [03068], and serve [05647] (8804) him in truth [0571] with all your heart [03824]: for consider [07200] (8798) how great {things} he hath done [01431] (8689) for you. |
12:24 Hanya takutlah akan TUHAN dan setialah beribadah kepada-Nya dengan segenap hatimu, sebab ketahuilah, betapa besarnya hal-hal yang dilakukan-Nya di antara kamu. |
| 12:25 But if ye shall still [07489] (8687) do wickedly [07489] (8686), ye shall be consumed [05595] (8735), both ye and your king [04428]. |
12:25 Tetapi jika kamu terus berbuat jahat, maka kamu akan dilenyapkan, baik kamu maupun rajamu itu." |
